free software for mixing music on windows vista?

are there any free downloads for software to mix music on a laptop? I want to make a party mix. thanks.

What music manager do you use? All of them do this including iTunes.

Audacity is for sound editing. It sounds like you want to make a party CD right?

You could also use Nero or InfraRecorder (which is free).

I use iTunes as well; it will allow you to burn CD’s from your playlist’s quite easily. This is what I do. I have used Nero before which is pretty cool because it allows you to ‘fade’ tracks together. You can also check out CDBurnerXP which is a lot like Nero.
